How long is it from ordering to getting my track fitted?

Normally about two weeks, but it can be a little longer at busy times (e.g. on the run-up to Christmas)

Do you offer free quotations?

Yes, we do, but to get an idea of cost it’s best to fill in our estimation form first and upload a photo. We will then get back to you with an approximate cost. If you are not able to do this then we will visit and quote with pleasure.

How long is the guarantee?

Our tracks are guaranteed for five years and the fitting element is guaranteed for twelve months.

Are the corded tracks you supply child-safe?

Yes, all operating cords will be fitted to the wall using an appropriate cord retainer and fitted 150cm from the floor in line with current regulations.

Do I have to have the safety device fitted?

If you order a cord operated track then our fitters are obliged by law to fit the device supplied with the track. If you are opposed to having the device fitted for any reason then this must be pointed out when come to measure the track as you will have to choose between a hand drawn track or an electrically operated track which does not require cords.

Do you bend the tracks on site?

There are some occasions when we are able to bend specific tracks on site dependant on the shape of the bay. Most tracks we supply will be bent off site. We enter the measurements into a computer program which then generates a full-size diagram of your bay window which we will then use to shape your track.

I only have a plasterboard ceiling in my bay. Will it take the weight of the track and curtains?

Yes, it should not be a problem. Plasterboard is an amazingly strong material and the overall load will be spread over a number of fixings which we always carry with us.

Do I need special hooks for your tracks?

No, just ordinary metal or plastic hooks will be fine.

Will there be enough runners on my track?

Yes, we always put on more that you need and we will show you how to take off any spare ones.

I have already bought my tracks, are you able to fit them?

No, we only fit tracks that we have supplied.

Are you able to re-cord/repair my existing track?

Give us a call about this as it is sometimes possible if parts are still available.

Do you supply tracks for me to fit myself?

No, we only offer a supply and fit service.

Do you make curtains?

No, we just specialise in making and fitting tracks and poles. However, we do work alongside curtain makers and shops so depending on what you want we may be able to point you in the right direction.

Do you sell blinds?

Yes, we have a selection of Roller, Vertical, Metal and Woodslat Venetian blinds both manual and battery remote control.

Will eyelet curtains work on a bay pole?

Probably the most frequently asked question to which the answer is sadly no. Bay-poles need intermediate supports to stop them tipping on the corners and the eyelets will not go past these.

Do you sell plastic tracks?

No, we always use metal tracks for their strength and durability.

Are you able to fit my new curtains onto the track when you come to fit it?

We will happily fit any new curtains when we come to fit the track, provided you mention this at the time of ordering so we can include the extra fitting charge in our quote to you.

What areas do you work in?

We cover the Leicester and the surrounding villages.

What payment types do you accept?

We are happy to take cheques, credit or debit cards and cash on the day of fitting . BACS or bank transfer is acceptable but the total amount must be paid prior to fitting.
